Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Everyone can participate. Since 1995, City of Union City staff and the community have joined forces to participate in Make a Difference Day activities. Past improvements efforts have included planting trees, removal of graffiti, painting, ivy removal, playground equipment installation, home improvement assistance, and other beautification projects
