The Union City Police Department's main office is located on the first level of the William M. Cann Civic Center Complex. Union City's Civic Center is named in honor of Police Chief William Michael Cann, who was slain in 1974.

Union Landing Resource Center, Alvarado-Niles Rd. and Dyer St.

This 600-square-foot facility is located in the Union Landing entertainment and shopping center. Visitors can pick up police related forms, crime prevention materials or just to talk with one of Union City's finest.

The center features a reception area, counter space for taking-in reports and a spacious back office with room for eight computer works stations. Officers can use the room to conduct interviews, do background checks and file reports.

Union Landing is located just off Interstate 880 at the corner of Alvarado-Niles Road and Dyer Street.

Decoto Resource Center, 5th and H Street
The Decoto Resource Center hosts a variety of services including; Legal Aide, Immigration-Naturalization, Adult Literacy, Parenting Classes, Healthy Start and Food Distribution.

Alvarado Resource Center, 4361 Agena Circle
The Alvarado Resource Center hosts several community based organizations which include; Leisure Services After School Program, Alameda County Juvenile Probation, California Technical Care (CTC), Boy Scouts of America, and Mental Health Association of Alameda County.
