Come and visit our summer Flea Market! Browse a wide variety of goods, crafts & one of a kind items that will be on sale! Bring the family out to a day of shopping, music, BBQ and treasure hunting! The Flea Market will be held at the Ruggieri Senior Center parking lot. Dates: Saturday, June 29,2013 and Saturday, July 27,2013 Time: 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Register Now for Summer Day Camps

Registration is now open for Union City Leisure Services Summer Day Camps, which offer children ages 3-16 an opportunity to enjoy a traditional summer day camp experience which includes a variety of fun activities, arts-n-crafts, games, sports, drama, hiking and nature activities. Each week offers a different theme, recreational swimming and a special field trip.

Escape from sitting at home and being bored on no-school days! Join Union City Leisure Services for a day of fun at the Holly Community Center. Furlough day camps scheduled for Friday, May 24.

Tennis Courts Closed for Resurfacing

Union City tennis players please note that two popular tennis courts will be closed for resurfacing. The courts at Veteran’s Memorial Park will close May 27 thru June 10, 2013. The Arroyo Park tennis courts and Mariner Park basketball court will close June 10 thru June 20, 2013. Thank you for your understanding.

Swimming or Tennis Anyone?
Union City Leisure Services will offer a wide variety of tennis classes for youth, teens and adults this summer! Classes will be offered at the James Logan Tennis Center and Veterans Memorial Tennis Courts. For more information about our tennis programs please call 510-675-5495. Union City Leisure Services provides award–winning programs for people with special needs of all ages.  Currently UCLS is offering sports through Special Olympics, Friday night activities through UC Clubhouse and lots of other fun activities and special events this fall.

Union City's award-winning Leisure Services department provides recreation and leisure services to the entire community. Recently honored by the California Park and Recreation Society, UCLS operates the Holly Community Center, Kennedy Community Center, Ruggieri Senior Center, Sports Center, Teen Center, Teen Workshop and, in the summer, the Dan Oden Swim Complex.

UCLS offers a wide variety of programs designed to meet the needs of children, teens, adults and seniors in our community. Programs include fee classes; summer, winter and spring day camps; after school middle school programs; youth sports; aquatics; arts; tot time; senior lunches; community gardens; volunteer recruitment and special needs programs for people with physical and mental disabilities.
